Bloom Anchor is a Theraplay-informed bilingual attachment activity app for parent–adolescent dyads (ages 10–17). It includes a Clinical Session Tool — a 40-activity library across the four Theraplay dimensions of Nurture, Structure, Engagement, and Challenge, dimension-specific observation checklists, a 12-item Relational Profile assessment with radar visualization, and contraindication screening — paired with a Home Practice app assigned to families between sessions. Clinical screening for touch and sensory contraindications happens before any activity is assigned, which is why Bloom Anchor is licensed to clinicians rather than sold as a direct consumer product.
Informed by the Theraplay® framework of Ann Jernberg, PhD & Phyllis Booth, MAFamilies use the paired Home Practice app between sessions, working through the specific activity the clinician assigned.
